David Machaffie

David Machaffie is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a BS in Pharmacy, class of 1993. He has over 36 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy, beginning his career in Independent Pharmacy in 1990 for 19 years. Dave began at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 2009 to start up an Employee Pharmacy Service for Berkshire Health Systems at 2 locations (Pittsfield, MA and Fairview Hospital, Gt. Barrington MA.). He also started one of the States first Meds to Bed programs during that time. Forward to 2015, he obtained a Retail License and started a Specialty Pharmacy program for Berkshire Health Systems, which has been URAC/ACHC accredited since 2017. Also in 2017, opened a Retail Pharmacy in the Health System owned Critical Access Hospital in Northern Berkshire County. Primary focus has been business development, supply chain, 340B optimization and Specialty Pharmacy.
