Brianne Nichols
Director of Retail, Specialty, and Ambulatory Care Pharmacy
Brianne Nichols, PharmD is one of the system pharmacy directors at Hartford HealthCare (HHC) overseeing retail, specialty, and ambulatory care service lines. Dr. Nichols received her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Worcester. She has experience in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy and has now been focused on specialty pharmacy for over 10 years. She has a passion for developing and growing integrated health services with a focus on patient centered care. In addition to the HHC specialty pharmacy program, Dr. Nichols has also overseen growth of the HHC Ambulatory Pharmacy and will be launching the HHC Home Infusion Program in 2026. Dr. Nichols has been consistently recognized for having high employee engagement and high customer and provider satisfaction in the departments she oversees. Dr. Nichols has championed increased access to medications for patients in her community through expansion of Hope Foundation programs and pharmacy-specific financial assistance programs. Dr. Nichols was awarded a Forty under 40 award from the Hartford Business Journal in 2024.
